HI,

Long time viewer, first time poster......

I am new to the area and have decide to break into saltwater fly fishing. Like so many others, I do not own a boat and I was looking for advice on where I could walk the shores of the Chesapeake in search of strippers, blues, reds etc.

I am particularity interested in remote locations, off the grid and away from the city. Any suggestions?

I'd try the shoreline along the beach right at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel - in a few weeks or so, you should be able to land pompano, spot and croakers.  If you walk along the North End of the Virginia Beach area (at or around 67th St, you might be able to hook into some bluefish or some flounder.  Go on a day with no wind and you will have a better time.
