sulphur at Roaches Run

The only sulphur I expect to experience at Roaches Run is the way the water smells.  Seeing this was a nice surprise.

There were quite a few yellowish mayflies coming off around fletchers last weekend.  I was pretty surprised but was unable to catch any of them.  Most were probably around a 14.

I was using a zara spook when I caught this guy.  There's a divine joke in there somewhere, but I'd rather not add to my time in purgatory.

That's good to know.  Size 14 seems about right for this guy.  Also it was the most yellow sulphur I've ever seen.  Even its wings were golden.

Sulphurs, big caddis and green drakes were all over the upper Potomac last week.
