For those not familiar with the game Desert Island, it's a way to pass the time when almost no other options are available. Currently sitting on a conference call with nothing to do, I started playing a fly fishing version in my head. Interested to see what fellow TPFR members might have to say to the questions below...

1) If you could choose only one weeklong excursion to fish anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Alaska

2) If you could only catch one species of fish for the rest of your life, which would it be?

Brown Trout

3) If you could only use one type of fly for the rest of your life, what fly would you choose?

Black & Olive Wooly Bugger Sz 8

4) If you could fish with one famous fly fisherman (Lefty, Clouser, Wulff, etc), who would it be?

John Gierach

5) If you could never fly fish again, what hobby/sport would you choose instead?

Woodworking

Don't care -- anywhere I can bring Beth and catch something.  RMNP was fun, I'd go again.

2) If you could only catch one species of fish for the rest of your life, which would it be?

Bream

3) If you could only use one type of fly for the rest of your life, what fly would you choose?

Small woolly bugger or leech

4) If you could fish with one famous fly fisherman (Lefty, Clouser, Wulff, etc), who would it be?

Don't really know.  Maybe just trade this offer for some partridge feathers.

5) If you could never fly fish again, what hobby/sport would you choose instead?

Fishing with lures or bait.

1.  Probably New Zealand (South Island)
2.  Brook Trout
3.  Type of fly or actual pattern?  If the former dry fly.  If the later probably clouser.
4.  April Vokey
5.  I already have other hobbies so I would just keep doing those,
