Fletchers in March?

Hi,

Is there much to fish for at Fletchers in mid-March? Is that typically too early for the shad run?

Probably a bit early for shad but who knows.  This winter has been fairly mild so there could be a few showing up by then.  Maybe some white perch but I don't find them very interesting to catch.
