I'm heading down there to meet a couple of friends for some fishing end of July/early August. Any pointers on guides, spots, kayak launches or fresh water bass options appreciated. I"ll mostly flyfish, but I'm sure my buddies will do some spin fishing as well.

Why just fresh water bass? I think you'd have to drive a good bit to get to a decent bass fishery. It's mostly saltwater fishing down there -- sea trout and redfish, maybe flounder and some other species. Look for current flowing past oyster bars or structure, and fish the seams.
There's a ramp in Little Talbot Island State Park that you can use, but I think you can also put in at Kayak Amelia right outside the park. You can also probably get a kayak in at Amelia Island State Park, although you might have to watch out for current through there. Fort Clinch State Park probably has a place you can put in a kayak, but it is a little more exposed.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. Bass in freshwater would be a backup to bad surf/other weather that precludes redfish, tarpon, ladyfish, and other targets - salt water the primary target. (current weather got me thinking about contingencies)
I'n taking my inflatable tandem kayak with me, and we'll rent another kayak down there. I found a great list of boat ramps and access points for both Nassau and Duval counties, and also received a great guide recommendation.
