Hi All, I am thinking of trying for some schoolie stripers this weekend in DC.  I understand Gravely is a good spot, but I don't think Im going to make it out there.  How is Fletchers from a boat?  I don't really use sinking line most of the year except for shad, so should I take that back out for them or am I safe with floating?

Thanks,

Gregg

I use a sink tip (not full sinking) for them everywhere else in the area, don't think you would want to go floating at fletchers of all places.  Honestly, I don't think fletchers is your best bet but I guess you never know.

I am always open to suggestions for other places....I do not have a boat however.

I was shocked when my line went taut a couple weeks ago at Carderock with a 16” striper. I tell people all the time, just get a dang line in the water…you never know.
