Any Ideas on Shad Fishing Near Rehoboth Beach?

Outside of the usual run, I did catch some shad in the Indian River Inlet a couple years back - was fishing with a guide, targeting schoolies and bluefish, on an outgoing tide

My suggestion would be Cape Henlopen. Fish have to enter the bay to move up the Delaware. The point of the cape is some crazy fast yet fishy water. If you see dolphins fishing will be lousy. Stripping basket for sure. That water moves freakishly fast on the tide so be careful.

Thanks. I ended up going to Red Bridges. White perch were in but no sign of shad.
