December Beer Tie and Holiday Party with Huge Raffle and Ugly Sweater Contest

December’s Beer Tie and Holiday party are coming up next Monday, December 10, at Whitlows on Wilson in the Backbar. Doors open at 6PM and Art’s Legal Corner begins around 10 when the back bar closes.

The party features a huge Raffle with multiple rods, including a brand new Orvis Recon 6wt, some flies, Christmas ornaments and various other prizes. We will also be having an Ugly Sweater Contest with a sweet prize.

Rob will be teaching red nosed buggers at the beginners table.

Look forward to seeing everyone on Monday!

Holiday themed fly tying contest - bring your vise and materials to tie a holiday themed fly. Winner gets a gift card to Outback Steakhouse. Bartenders will judge.

Another reminder, Beer Tie is coming up tomorrow. We have a lot of sweet prizes to give out between the raffle and various contests. Dont forget to wear your ugly sweaters, and if you’re interested in the raffle bring cash; sorry, we’re having technical difficulties on the card reader.

The main prize in the raffle is a brand new 9’ 6wt Orvis Recon rod; other sweet prizes include multiple rods, flies and ornaments. Ornaments and stationary were donated by Kevin from Kenmore Fly Shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/KenmoreFlyShop
