Outer Banks February fly fishing

Hey all, Happy New Year!

I'm going to be in the VB/Outer Banks area from about Feb 12-Feb 24

I live in Key West now, so I have no concept of the winter freeze.  For instance, it's 85 degrees today and hot.  So, I ask you, any point in bringing my rod up and if so, where around there is a good place to wet the line?

Always worth bringing a rod.  That won't be the most predictable time but I have been there in january and had bluefish right on the beach.
