Anyone fished anywhere in Hot Springs? We'll be there next week and don't know much about the area other than that is has a lot of large lakes. I'm trying to locate any spots which may be suited to fly fishing. Species are unimportant --

Gene,

Two caveats: I've mostly been there in the winter months, and typically have not had boat access. There's some striper action below Blakely Dam (Hamilton Lake), typically in the PM when they are generating. If you have time for a drive, the Little Red is a fantastic trout fishery. You can DIY at the Little Red, or I'd recommend Rouse for guides.
