Getting on the plane this morning heading to Santa Rosa Ca. 48 hrs. with the outlaws , then heading to the Mt. Shasta area to fish the McLoud & Upper Sac. Then on to the N. Umpqua in Or. to put my new Spey casting skills to use for summer steelhead. Hope to have some fish porn for you all.

Sweet..  I have fished the upper sac and mccloud.  Both are great rivers.  Be careful on the road to the mccloud, especially if you are heading out at night.

May want to check reports on the ump before you drive up that way.  Reports are that the water is very low and warm.  Many guys asking that people refrain from fishing.  Check out speypages for discussion.

I think quoting Office Gunther Toody is totally appropriate here. ooh, ooh, ooh! I'd ask you to say hi to Mike at The Fly Shop in Redding, but the story's too complicated. ;-) Have fun. we'll talk 'yaks when you return.

Mark, your dating yourself. Car 54 where are you. Probable only 2 in the club who would reference it. 🚓

I thought it was "Ladder 45 Where Are You"?  Wasn't that a movie?

They say the "tug is the drug". Well I'm addicted. Hooked into a nice steelhead this morning in the fabled camp pool area on the N. Umpqua , before I knew it I was into my backing and a 2' jump later a long line release. Looking forward to more tomorrow morning.

At least Gilligan's Island had Maryanne and Ginger (not necessarily in that order)!

Gunther Toody has already spoken for me. Man, there is just something about the light on the Left Coast.

Tight lines, Terry.
