Big river a little too high for my liking. There enough water in canal to make Widewater at Anglers worth it??

There is NOT enough water in canal at Anglers to get to Widewater. Tried Canal at Pennyfield Lock and that looked like a whole milk latte with no foam. Went to Clopper Lake and got skunked. Did enjoy paddling just the same.

Likewise, John. I went home from Clopper skunked. Should have brought a spinning rod and used wacky worms while drifting. Still it was good to get out and paddle. Come shoot the breeze at the beer tie next Monday if you can.
