I fished Monday morning from 7:00 until 10:00 - no wind, rain started coming down pretty hard at end. River looked cloudy, but after I moved a couple of times, the bite really took off. I caught 20+ fish, all on my 8wt and 6wt - fly color didn't seem to matter, though I caught the most on white. Fish were pretty big and beefy. It seemed that they were in multiple layers of the water column, I caught several really deep, but a number of them were only 15 feet behind the boat as the fly was almost up (maybe they followed it?). it was all good. Other boats using spinning gear did really well also.

Yes on the Fletcher's rowboat - best fishing value on the planet during the shad run :-)
