Thyme Kickoff: Sat. May 4, 10-noon

Hello,

Here's the scoop for our 2024 Thyme Patch Kickoff . . . 

🌱🌱 ~ Saturday, May 4th, 10:00 - !2:00 ~ 🌱🌱

We'll meet in the garden if the weather permits.  If not, we'll walk over to Marc's place across the street on NW 56th.

KICKOFF PLAN . . . 

WELCOME new gardeners Addie and Emily.  (Hannah, our 3rd new gardener has been working diligently to remove the grass from her plot - but cannot attend. )

VOLUNTEER LEADS will briefly describe their role and what we can do to help them out. Our Volunteer leads for 2024 are:

Jessica and Ryan - Shed

Marc - Water

Yvonne and Pam -  Giving Garden

Joe - Plot Monitor

Alena - Volunteer Hours

Sean - Compost

Johanne - Communications Coordinator

Michelle - Groundswell Liaison, New Gardener Orientation

Positions to be filled:

Monthly work party leads

Liaison to City Parks P-patch program

Volunteer Coordinator 

GARDEN PROJECTS

Weed paths

 

And, if needed - tend to:

Giving Garden

Compost 

Shed

Plot prep

Hi all, 

Unfortunately, I will be out of town this Saturday, and most of the month of May. I'll be putting a flag in my plot and would appreciate it if folks could water when convenient. 

Volunteer hours can be tracked on this sheet, and then submitted at the end of the season. I'll send out a reminder email to submit the forms when the time comes (:
