Hi,

How can I debug une application developmented in thorntail in Eclipse?
Is possible use IDEs?
Is possible use HotDeploy for development? Like in SpringBoot?

Thanks!

Hi,

for running/debugging Thorntail applications in an IDE, it's probably best to use the Thorntail Runner: https://thorntail.io/posts/thorntail-runner/

As for hot deploy, I don't think that's possible. I know there are some people using the deployment scanner fraction, but that comes with a lot of undocumented assumptions (read: limitations).

If you're just starting with application development with Thorntail, I'd suggest you look either at WildFly or at Quarkus.
