Alternative to diode?

Hello,I have had a lot of trouble trying to the the 1N4004 Diode. Its pretty scarce to find.

I was hoping if anyone has ideas for an alternative please.

Hi,

I did a quick search and it still seems easy to order, for example at mouser…

But it looks like it’s being used as reverse polarity protection? So it should not be important which exact diode you use as long as it can stand the voltage/current?
