December Garden Club Meeting- Next week, Dec. 9th

Good afternoon everyone,

The December meeting will be next Monday, Dec. 9th at the St. B's Parish house.

We will gather at 6:30 to eat and make holiday arrangements.  The resulting arrangements can be taken home or we can drop them off at a local nursing home.

I have a variety of Christmas mugs but please feel free to bring your own mug or other container(s).

If you have some greenery that you could cut and bring to share, that would be great!  It would also be helpful if you bring a pair of small clippers for your use.   

We will have some oasis and flowers, as well as a few decorative items to add to the arrangements. Feel free to bring ribbons, pinecones or anything else you might like to put to use. 

This is always a fun meeting.   I will bring some pizzas.  Feel free to supplement with other food or drink items.

At the last meeting, he had just come off a plane from a job. I'm pretty sure that was the case. And I think he had to get on another plane afterwards. But he is safely on land, and that's the point. Thanks.

Thanks for your concern about my whereabouts and well being. I work for the mainline American Airline operation and exclusively out BWI. The regional jet from PSA operated as an American Eagle flight. I’m  not retired just yet. Planning to do so at the end of 2025. This air tragedy hits close to home. My wife is a retired Flight Attendant. Ours hearts ache for the victims of this tragedy, the first US fatal commercial accident in more than 20 years. Nevertheless, I’ll be flying a trip tomorrow. 😢 From the pictures that I saw, it looked like there was no warning, just an instantaneous explosion. I hope they didn't know what was coming. RIP all those affected, and their families are in prayers. 🙏🏻💙❤🙏🏻

That is what Gregor observed. We both saw the explosion, and he felt that it happened so quickly, they probably didn't have time to suffer. What a way to go!
