Wait.
A flash of red drew her attention down, down to the grassland closer to the Valley. Down there in a plains there was a... a banner. Red and white, fluttering in the wind from a rider on horseback. Behind them more horses, and wagons, laden with red and white cloth, all headed towards the Quiet Woods.
Fishing would have to wait. This looked... interesting. Too interesting to leave to those explorers in the Lakeside Inn. Creeping through the morning mist, Marla Cloudsong doubled back, heading towards the dwarven mine tunnel which lead out to the plains below. She stopped at the threshold and turned, briefly, to look towards home - then stepped into darkness.
