2025 January club meeting Thursday 16th

Hey there everyone!

Our regular club meeting is coming up this Thursday, the 16th of December, 7PM at the EOC room at The Woodlands Central Fire Station, 9951 Grogans Mill Rd, Spring, TX 77380 (https://maps.app.goo.gl/LdAGzd3UfNjKk6N6A) (upstairs, through the often-closed hallway door - knock if closed, then left into the EOC)

I'm open to any topics for discussion.  Let me know if you have a specific topic, but, I'm sure that once we get started, the time will go, and we'll have touched on multiple topics by the time we depart.

If you have any items to 'show-n-tell', by all means, bring it/them along, and you'll have some time to talk about the item(s).

I think we'll likely hear an update about radio equipment at the fire station as that continues to evolve.

Reminder: The Houston Marathon is very close.  Probably a bit late to sign up and get any goodies, but, if you have 'last minute' availability, you can try signing up at  https://www.hmhams.org

Another event, a little bit further off, is the CERT Rodeo, February 15th (Saturday).

We do have at least one person that's wanting to take an FCC amateur radio test, so we'll be looking to get that done.

Hi guys,

Unfortunately I got sick yesterday and it hasn't gotten better today. I won't be able to attend the meeting or take the test, I apologize for that. Hopefully I'll be able to attend next month's meeting.
