Hey there everyone!

Our regular club meeting is coming up this Thursday, the 17th of April, 7PM at the EOC room at The Woodlands Central Fire Station, 9951 Grogans Mill Rd, Spring, TX 77380 (https://maps.app.goo.gl/LdAGzd3UfNjKk6N6A) (upstairs, through the often-closed hallway door - knock if closed, then left into the EOC)

If you have any items to 'show-n-tell', by all means, bring it/them along, and you'll have some time to talk about the item(s).

This month, I expect there will be at least some conversation about how the Ironman support is going to play out on April 26th (it's happening 8 days after the club meeting, 11 days from now).  We currently have a small band of volunteers. Unless we get a sudden influx of sign-ups, it's going to be a rather small effort. But, hopefully, more people will sign up to help.  At some point soon, I'm going to have to let the Ironman folks know how many tee shirts we need, so, if you have ideas of helping, please, sign up now!

We also have, 10th of May, The Woodlands Triathlon, so if that's an option, it would be a good time to have you sign up for that too!

The township preparedness event (thank you for spearheading Keith) happened on Saturday.  I wasn't able to attend personally, but, I'd like to hear from others that did, as to how it went.

Of course, I'm sure there will be some other topics raised for discussion too.

If you're available, see you there!

Best Regards,

Peter KE5STL

My Thursday just opened up so I’m planning to come. Any chance there’s testing beforehand? :)

Hello Joshua,

I’ve not heard that anyone else wants to test, but, if Dennis brings along the needed kit, and we have enough qualified bodies on hand to do it, I don’t see why not.

No need to show up particularly early (needed bodies might not have arrived).

Regards,

Peter
