This SUNDAY we will visit Grimsby Wetlands and see what we may see. Sora, Virginia Rail, and Gallinule have nested here. If time remains, we will also visit the nearby 40 Mile Creek conservation area.

Good Morning Colleen.

Just wanted to give you the heads up to allow for some extra time getting to and from this outing. The Lincoln Alexander is being closed that weekend (or so the rumour is since they have changed the date twice already). All traffic to Niagara is probably going around Hamilton so I would expect it to be busy. Probably not an issue for the early morning of a birder but the trip home may require some extra snacks!!

Geordie and I are sending greetings to everyone, from a fishing lodge in northwestern Ontario - further north than the southern tip of James Bay!
