Hi Pipits!
I injured my right hand, so I can only type left handed, this will be brief.
Last minute idea for an adventure. Conditions look good for mole salamanders to be on the move to their breeding ponds tomorrow evening.
A few of us are going to go to Sudden Tract, on Spragues Rd in Cambridge at 9pm tomorrow ... the pond they head towards is not far from the parking lot, and we might find them crossing the trail.
If you're interested in coming, be there at 9pm, dressed for the weather... it should be above 5 degrees, but it will likely rain and will feel cold. I am going to check out the trail conditions on my way into Burlington, so I can share them with the folks coming.
Bring a good headlamp!
Please email here if you're joining tomorrow!

Also, I'm heading to the ROM on Sunday, March 22 2026, to view the Crawford Lake exhibit, as well as the Wildlife Photographer, and Shark exhibits.
I know a number of you are interested in this.
I will be coming down from Severn for this, but feel free to reach out through the google group to arrange car pooling, or taking GO together. I'll probably take TTC from north Toronto.
I'd like to be there for 10am.
It's important to buy tickets in advance, prices go up as we get closer to the admission date.
See below for a 20% discount code!
Let me know if you want to go?!

Hi Colleen,
The rates online are dynamic, the closer to the visit date the higher the rates.
Currently, the adult rate for General Admission + Wildlife Photographer + Sharks is $40.50 and by using
ROM20 to save 20%, it's $32.40 per adult.
Crawford Lake is included with General Admission.
I'd recommend encouraging members to buy their tickets this soon to get the best rates.
All three exhibitions are fantastic, the Pipits will have a great visit!
