Hello my friends!

I am letting you know that I am watching the weather for our walk this Sunday in Sedgewick Forest.

I think I'll have to keep an eye on the weather and let everyone know Sat evening if the walk isn't a go - 

if it's going to be very windy and very cold I don't think it will be safe to be in a forest (branches can fall on folks with high winds) - 

and if we do go ahead, please everyone, BUNDLE UP. 

If you don't hear from me by Sat evening (9pm), the walk will go ahead.

If you think you'd rather not attend, please let me know by Sat evening.

Hi again Pipits!

I have made the decision to not come to Burlington this weekend.

I don't think the conditions will be great, as the wind is expected to be high, and it will be snowing all day Sunday. My drive home on Monday will be treacherous. I'd prefer not to make that drive.

The highway up here was a mess today.

I have heard from a couple of you already, who have cancelled and aren't attending Sedgewick Forest - and with my apologies - I will just pre-emptively cancel this event.

Hope to see you at the next trip!
