Hello everyone,

Following the popularity of last year's bulk buy of honey jars from General Bottle Supply (based in Los Angeles), we are initiating another order. A few additional jar and lid styles have been added this year.

Purchasing the jars as a group saves on shipping costs, and allows us to take advantage of discounted bulk pricing. In the order form below, shipping and tax have been included in the price. The club doesn't make any money from this, and we try to break even, which was roughly the case last year.

The order form is now active, and we will take orders until the deadline of March 8. Jars will be available for pickup at the Tuesday, April 14 meeting in San Leandro. Alternate pickup can be arranged, see the order form for details.

Happy Spring!
Thom

Hello everyone,
Thank you to all the folks who have already placed an order for jars!
I thought I would send out a reminder that the deadline for placing orders is this upcoming Sunday, March 8.

It looks like it'll be a beautiful weekend, so hopefully you get to spend some time with your bees! Busy hive entrances serve as a reminder that you'll soon have honey to harvest (and put into jars).

Cheers,
Thom

You may be thinking, "Oh no, I forgot to place my jar order!"
If so, don't fret, we've extended the deadline to this Wednesday, March 11.
Cheers,
Thom

Thank you everyone that placed orders for jars during this bulk order. They have all arrived and been sorted.
I thought I would open up the possibility for you to pick up your jars early from my house, even if you selected another pickup option on the order form.

I live in Castro Valley, near the Castro Valley Community Park, and I'm generally around on evenings and weekends (including today).
If you're interested in grabbing your jars, reach out and we can set up a time.

Cheers,
Thom

Bravo to Thom and Rob (and anyone else behind the scenes that helped) for this great service to the club. I am super grateful to you for organizing!  Thank you so much!

Thom,
Let me know if you want me to help bring the jars to the meeting on Tuesday.
