We are holding the morning session of the Randy Oliver workshop at the club meeting space in San Leandro  on Saturday August 22.

In past years Sung has been very generous about allowing us to use his bees in his backyard for the hands-on afternoon session.  This year his yard is not available.

If someone would like to act as a host  for the afternoon session, please get in touch with me.  We would like at least 5 hives in a space that can accommodate around 20 people and that is in the San Leandro area.  The club apiary is another option we are considering but only has fewer hives.

Regards,

Jim.

Hi Jim,
I have 5 hives in Morrison Canyon. I can ask the farm owner if she would be ok accommodating the club for parking and all.  This apiary is in Fremont.

Hi Sue,

Thanks very much for the offer!  However, I looked at Google maps and they estimate almost an hour drive to Mission Canyon from the morning session at All Saints Episcopal Church in San Leandro so I think that might be a bit too far.  We can keep it as an option in our back pocket, so to speak, if that is OK with you.

Jim
