I paid a neighbor to build this for me after reading about one years ago. I put it on top of a brood chamber of a recently hived swarm. They promptly absconded. Message received and this has sat in the garage for several years. This year I put it on top of a really large swarm and waited until it was up and running with a lot of brood. They're doing a nice job although it does take some babysitting to keep it from going crazy!

I love it too. Are the frames purchased,  like mating nuc frames?

It’s very cute. Were you thinking of selling sections as comb honey?

He made both the box and the frames. My original idea was to sell the whole sections in the frame, then give folks a few bucks off the next one when they returned the frame. I'm thinking I probably wouldn't get most of the frames back so will likely just cut out the sections. It would be too difficult for me to find someone to build a new supply for replacements.
