This is a feature request and maybe I haven't found it yet in the settings.

1.

For ease of reading when one is over 40 years it would be nice to set the line height to 1.1 for example.

2.

Also there doesn't seem a way to set extra styles like Gill Sans Light.

I'm aware that not all fonts have the Light style but maybe there could have a workaround here?

There is a "Ruler: Line Spacing 1.2" cleaner available. More customization would likely come in the next big release. I hope to add an action (or more) focused on ruler changes.

Additionally, you might want to check out the Zoom. 125% makes things just a little bigger without being obscenely big. You can set the default zoom in Settings.

You can use the Set Font (Advanced) action within a custom cleaner to set a font. It displays the raw names, allowing you to access all the Styles.

Sometime down the road, I hope to merge the two set font actions [Set Font, Set Font (Advanced)]. Until then, you'll need to pick which one based on what you are trying to do.

Re: 1. The Set Font (Advanced) action looks very good!

Re: 2. Got the Line Spacing (Line Height) action to work, one or twice, then not any more.

This is my set-up:

Relaunched TextSoap, still the same.

Wait, are you trying to set up defaults? TextSoap cleaners work on the provided text, so it will not change the text the next time around until you apply them.
If you're looking to change defaults, go to Settings > Text Editing > Editing > and set the Font you want there.
In this case, default line spacing is not available. Nor is text color.

However, it looks like you are trying to effectively work with the text as plain text.
In that case, you can go to Settings > General and set the format for the Clipboard Workspace (or new Documents, if needed) to Plain text.

I hope that helps.
