I find a ton of data on how to train the tesseract 3 software with new
character sets by using the provided tools. However, I am wondering if
I could accomplish this by using the C# API of tessnet2. I want
tesseract to learn a custom font that is used in my company's software
applications. I have tried doing preprocessing of images to make them
more legible, but I haven't been able to achieve 100% accuracy and I
figured that training the algorithm with the custom font(s) is the
only solution. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

PS. I've tried searching for a solution to my problem in this and
other forums with no luck. Sorry if a post like this already exists, I
wasn't able to find it.
