Training new font Tesseract v5.1.0

Hello guys,

I'm trying to train new font with tesseract v5.1.0 but I keep getting the following error:

C:\Program Files\Tesseract-OCR\tesstrain>tesseract make training MODEL_NAME=Apex MAX_ITERATIONS=100
read_params_file: Can't open MODEL_NAME=Apex
read_params_file: Can't open MAX_ITERATIONS=100
Error, cannot read input file make: No such file or directory
Error during processing.

I was reading that I need to have training tools installed to use the make training command, do you know how I can install the training tools?

Hello Umanda,

I saw that video before but he is using Linux, I try to install ubuntu app for WSL but I was not able to make it work I had problems installing tools and then also have trouble with c++ compiler g++
