I have read that it could be because of shapetable problems so have run the training problem multiple times, removing certain box/tiff pairs. Training does not give any error, but OCR does?

Out of 20 odd images that I try to recognize, it fails on 3-4 images which are in different fonts.

The same images are recognized when I use an older version of traineddata.

Any ideas on what could be causing this.

Can you post an example traineddata file and image that causes this,
please?

same here, damn. seems like it breaking when i'm adding the user-patterns file to the config vector...
