How to train tesseract to recognize equtions?

Hi,

I am going to use tesseract to recognize math equations in a image. Please let me know how can I use the equ.traindata to train tesseract to recognize math equation.

Dear Han,

Did you find an answer for it? I have a similar problem, actually I "just" want to identify the equations. I don't need to "extract" the equations, known where the equation is in the picture is good enough.
