Need help in reading meter readings using Tesseract

Hello all,

I am new to tesseract and Leptonica.

I am trying to use Tesseract 3.02 to read Odometer readings from a mobile application scanning the odometer.(Analog as well as Digital 7 segment display).

For the Analog, I am getting vague output which is not any way close to the expected output.

I have shared the input and the tessinput.tif for the same. i have also shared the config file used.

I have also tried to use Leptonica for correcting the image. However it hasnt helped much.

I request if anyone has a better way to achieve very good accuracy in analog meter readings.

I also request if anyone has suggestions for 7 segment meter readings
