tesseract 4.0 recognize '5' as 'S'

I use tesseract 4.0 to recognize the picture. The text on image is "MR5458". But it's recognized as "MRS458"

Then I adjust the image, move the text little lower, like this

or adjust the image size, crop the bottom, like this 

then tesseract give the right text "MR5458".

Should I adjust the text to the center or bottom the image , or is there any other optons?

PSM 6 or 7 produces the correct result.

Thanks for reply, but I have tired the PSM 6 and 7 like this 

tesseract test.bmp ocr --psm 6  

And the result is still "MRS458" , not correct.

I download the tesseract 4.0 install from Tesseract at UB Mannheim , 2018-10-30 Update Tesseract 4.0.0 . do you use the same release?
