Tesseract not able to detect same character consistently in a single line of a image

Hi

Please see the attached image. It consist of a alphabet followed by numbers. 

I am using tesseract 3.01 data on windows XP (if that matters)

Refer the attached image.....the first number  6 (from left side) is recognized properly whereas the last two 6's are identified as B. Image quality wise there is hardly any difference in the number 6 i could see.

Is there any settings (using SetVariable function...)  i should do to ensure the same number 6 is recognized consistently

As suggested by ShreeDevi,  I downloaded  binaries(all) compiled by Simon - f which  is  easier and better  than compiling from the source codes with help of  Visual Studio. As such it is boon for user who has not installed Visual Studio on their machine - for compilation purpose.
