How to use trained data

I have a bunch of files of trained data (gotten from tessdata_best), can someone provide me a brief help in how to use them? I want also know where do I download the ocr because from what I can tell I need at least the 4.0.0 version right?

It depends on the o/s you are using. Look at the tesseract wiki home page.
