Font_properties file

Hi,

I am creating the font_properties file for training tesseract OCR and there are 5 values to be identified using italic bold fixed serif fraktur

How do i identify the font with these parameters? 

For example there is a font american typewriter, how do i know about the parameters?

You need to set the values based on the font eg. If it is a fixed width font, then set that to 1. If it is a serif font then set that to 1, for sans serif, set it to 0. Similarly if your font is bold or italic, set the corresponding values to 1.

So, you need to set values based on the American typewriter font that you are using for training.
