Signal_exit 30 SIGNAL ABORT. LocCode: 3 SignalCode: 3
...

These are the Error messages which I gotten if I scanne.

Made I the following steps:

fontfile.tif is my new font.

tesseract fontfile.tif fontfile batch.nochop makebox
tesseract fontfile.tif fontfile nobatch box.train
mftrainig fontfile.tr
cntraining fontfile.tr
unicharset_extractor fontfile.box
Then I have provided my Dictionary Data files: freq-dawg and word-
dawg.
DangAmbigs and user-words are empty.

I have renamed my 8 files with prefix new_font.

The result from:

tesseract fontfile.tif result -l new_font

...
Illegal malloc request size
...
see above

I use Linux 10.2

Does anybody else know what might cause these errors?

Prefix for lang should be three characters like " eng." In your case you have restricted to "new" or "fon" like that  in place of "new_font"  All data files should be prefixed with 3characters only.

No. For instance, the German Fraktur language is deu-f

Hi Hape,

Im also getting same error 'Illegal malloc request size '.

How to update patch files to tesseract-oct.Please help me.
