hi ali,
tesseract can work with all languages and all fonts on the paper..
we are working on connected script like Persian and Arabic or Hindi..
but
the out put isnt really good yet
the conected script have a long time to go....

because there isnt any good ocr for Persian language any achievement at this goal will be re-shared in your countries too...

the current designed tesseract ocr i working well on all language
but it must trained for each font/lang
so just try to train your own..

i just convert sup or sub/idx to srt
I thought if you write persian ocr i can convert sup to srt

Using OCR to convert image-based movie subtitles
to text-based is normal and not uncommon. I think
his request here for Persian language support in that
context is valid.

for converting subtitle you just need dictionary
str and sub and idx file are completly text base files...

the result is not good yet
just about 20-30 % and this is not good for production !!​
