Handwritten Text Recognition

hello everyone,

I am trying to develop a handwritten text recognition so my questions are:

1. Does tesseract provide built in support for handwritten text?? If not then is it possible to train tesseract for the same?

2. Is it possible to develop a model which can recognize handwritten text in any language?

If yes? how to do it?

3. Are there existing model which can be used directly? And how to use them?

Please help me on this..(AS I am new to OCR and not able to understand it)

Tesseract will be good for extracting a printed document

Tesseract is not really Good at extracting hand written text

Try TrOCR if you wanna try to extract handwritten text or maybe go for a deep learning based model

I don't know about fine-tuning tesseract ocr and how well it's going to perform
