Hey Folks,

I am running Ubuntu 14.0.4, and I just installed the latest version of tesseract using sudo apt-get install tesseract-ocr

Unfortunately, when I run tesseract in any way shape or form, I get this error message:

tesseract: error while loading shared libraries: liblept.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I have upgraded tesseract, I have upgraded liblept4. I have updated apt-get and removed them and tried again. I still keep getting the same error message. I don't know why it's even looking for liblept.so.3. Frankly I have no idea what's going on. All the posts I've found online about this error have said to update, but I've done that and it's still broken.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
