Makefile in master branch of tesseract-ocr/tesseract

I don't see Makefile in the master branch of tesseract-ocr/tesseract, Is there a way for me to get it from other branches? I needed to install tesseract from master branch to get the lstm engine working. Any information regarding this will be greatly appreciated.
