I'm getting a message where the inclusion of complex images results in
the following output to standard error:

"Cancelled repeat of length 0 due to Joined"

What does this message mean?

This might pertain to a sequence of leading dashes or dots in some
row. This can happen when Tesseract marked a number of characters as a
leader sequence but further checks have shown that it's not the case.
It's not a unrecoverable error, as I see, but just a diagnostic
message. Also such errors can happen when an image containing non-text
information is fed to Tesseract; in this case all kinds of errors can
arise.

Warm regards,
Dmitri Silaev

HI

What is your input image format png or tif?

If your input image format is png then just change to tif and try the tesseract.

I got same issue and fixed.

Guna
