Improve black and white digit recognition

Dear all,

I'm facing some problems during black and white digit recognition.

I attached two examples.

By using the command :

tesseract ./84.jpg out -psm 7 nobatch digits

116 is recognized as 115, and 84 as 94.

Do you have any suggestions?

Do I have to modify the image format (such as compression, data type, dimension, zoom)?
