Reg: Indic scripts

Hello,

       I was searching for an OCR for "Telugu" and found Tesseract, Tesseractindic and Parichit, all based on tesseract. Tesseractindic and Parichit are specially designed for Indic languages. But it looks like there is no update of Tesseractindic after 2010 and Parichit after 2011 (I looked at download pages and concluded this). Does any of you have an idea which one works better for "Telugu".
