Where can find the modules for table extraction in tesseract?

I am pretty new to tesseract. I come across this paper "2010 Table detection in heterogeneous documents". The author said that the algorithm is added to Tesseract. Where can I find it? Also, are there any example that I can go through and learn how to use it?
