how to improve accuracy of tesseract

Hello,

I am working on tesseract using Tess4j java api. I want to achieve OCR of whole passport image. For achieving accuracy I have trained 16 passport images of grayscale and 300 dpi with 993*708 size. Please help me to achieve accuracy of tesseract.
