error in Tesseract-OCR

hi,

While i am trying to run the OCR from command line, it takes the input but it is showing an error as "can not create the out.txt file".

Why it is showing this ?

I am running the command as "tesseract  input_file_name_with_extension  Output_file_name_with_out_extension".

This is what mentioned in the read me file of Tesseract. Is there any problem regarding this command ?

it seem that you have permission issues with your working directory, check if you have permission where you are running tesseract.

Yes that could have been a problem but i am running it as an admin. So i hope permission related issue isn't there.

Is there any way to see where the code has been written to create the out file ?

what OS are you using? I know in linux you will get that error if you don't have permission on your working directory

I don;t have any understanding of tesseract in windows.

"can not create the out.txt file". is permission issues in linux.
