Compiling and Executing the C code from leptonica in windows

Hi everyone!

I am using the tesseract in my project. Since tesseract already used leptonica to improve the accuracy of OCR, but still the OCR accuracy can be improved. In my project, i am using the images with horizontal lines. As per the below link, i tried to execute the code in windows.

But i don't have idea about the execution of the lineremoval.c from Windows 7. Can anyone suggest any idea to execute the code individually  from leptonica project?
