Tesseract Form Recognition

Hi all,

I'm curious how to use tesseract to process forms.

I.e. process a bunch of letters all having the same format and recognize a customer number in each letter.

I did not find a comprehensive guide how this can be achieved. Is there any kind of guide/tutorial available?
