Hey Block,

Our June Block Party is happening today in what looks like it will be PERFECT weather!

By now I expect you all have seen the fantastic schedule that Caitlyn (421) has put together—if not, take a gander at the attachment on this email (please note that wine tasting is from 4-5pm).

We might not have Jalen Brunson or OG Anunoby, but we've got a New York-themed playlist, a bouncy house, egg toss, popcorn, and MORE.

As always, we are rallying the block to come out, enjoy, and participate. Whether it’s arts and crafts, karaoke song requests, or music performances—we welcome it all. Come out and use our perfect weather day block party to showcase your special talent or interest!

LOGISTICS & SAFETY

SAFETY
We will BLOCK BOTH ENDS OF THE STREET (large barriers by 5th Ave). While we block off earlier than the permit allows, please watch for "rogue" cars, scooters, or motorbikes that may linger or try to enter. Please help monitor and rebuff any vehicles.

HOUSEKEEPING

  - Welcome Table (384): Stop by to introduce yourself, grab a name tag, or make a block dues donation.
  - Block Dues: We ask for annual dues of $25 per family or $10 for individuals.
  - How to Pay: See Shannon (443), Danae (384), or Caitlyn (421) at the welcome table. You can also:
      - Venmo: @Shannon-OBrien (last 4 digits: 4316)
      - Zelle: shannon....@gmail.com
      - Note: Please include a comment indicating ‘Block Dues’.

ITEMS NEEDED

  - Tables: We need them at 421 for the popcorn machine and many more for the 5:30 PM block dinner. Let us know if you have one!
  - Cardboard Boxes: Needed for fort building! Please leave them in the middle of the block.
  - Kiddie Pools: It’s warm enough! Bring them to the mid-block hydrant on the odd side of the street.
